Donations
The Wild Horse Project relies entirely on donations and Workshop bookings to cover our ongoing costs and fund much needed big ticket items, including:
-
Weekly feed bills - currently around $2,000 a week
-
Vet bills - over $20,000 spent in the last 12 month period
-
Barn roof - $120,000 is needed to make dry holding pens before next winter. This is a necessity for horse welfare and to be able to continue to train and work with them safely over the winter months
-
Stock trailer - $19,000 to be able to safely pick up and move smaller mobs of wild horses and foals. We are currently raising funds for our trailer through a dedicated through a dedicated Give A Little page
-
Fencing - to muster at 90Mile Beach for contraception/castration, $5,500
You can support us through the Donorbox donation form embedded on this page, or directly through our bank account (12-3091-0216352-00).
We are a registered charity in Aotearoa New Zealand (CC61637).
Finally, you can also support the Wild Horse Project by enrolling in one of our upcoming Wild Horse Workshops.
